In celebration of the 117th Philippine Independence, SM City Cauayan with the presence of the Kite Association of the Philippines, held an event dedicated to one of our traditional past time, Kite Flying!

Despite the fact that a lot of today’s kids would prefer to stay indoors and play with their gadgets, quite a number showed up and frisked under the sun amidst the sweltering solar heat.

The Kite Fest 2015 event started with a “Kite Making Workshop” wherein kids and kids at heart, and as well as kite enthusiast enjoyed making their own kite unleashing their own artistry and creativity worth of Php 50.00 only. There was also “Kite Exhibit” event happened, wherein displays of different kites made by amateur and professional kite makers will leave you in awe, and these are all happened at the Rivera Entrance of SM City Cauayan.

In our city we have a flying lantern event, similar to that one scene in Tangled.
