for LINES sake.

CIMG3883Many of you probably don’t know that I’m not tall. “how I wish I was” LOL. Although we petite women aren’t going to grow any taller, there are some ways we can look taller. Create a taller appearance by practicing some easy styling techniques.

  • Stand up straight. Posture can make a huge difference in how others perceive you and your height. Sit up straight too. Not only will you seem taller, but you’ll also appear more alert and engaged.

  • Wear high heels. The higher the heel, the taller you’ll look. To look taller, wear the highest heels that you’ve able to walk gracefully in. If you wear heels that are too high for you, you’ll appear awkward, and that’s what people will notice, rather than your height. If really high heels aren’t for you, you may find that wearing platforms with a medium heel will give you the lift you need. Even low heels will add a bit of height.

  • Style your hair, so that it has some height and fullness around the crown. You don’t have to have a big hair look, but avoid flat and smooth styling on top.

  • Create vertical and horizontal lines with your clothing and accessories, Vertical lines make short women look thinner and taller and if you’re already thin like me, use horizontal lines so that It will make you a bit wider, not appearing to over thin. I know it’s opposing… but? I think fashion doesn’t have any rules, unless you’ll do something about it right?😉
